How soon after a burial can a headstone be placed?

Generally, we would advise 6 months to allow for the ground to settle around the grave unless there is a cemetery beam. This is a long piece of concrete like a path onto which memorials are fixed. We would be able to advise you regarding this.

This would not prevent you from ordering your memorial stone and then we can place the stone at the right time.

I have seen a stone I like can I order it, please?

We pride ourselves on personal service so please do contact us on mobile number 07999 753143 or email your details and we can talk about what your requirements are. Once we have talked we will confirm all costs and we will then require a deposit of 30%, once received we will then design your stone and send for approval. Approval will then be received and any amends will be completed and the work will then go ahead.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we take a 30% deposit, and then full payment is required once the stone has been erected.

 

Will I get to see what the inscription will look like on the stone before it is completed?

All our work will need to be approved before we go to the actual work completed and we will send you the artwork work for approval. Please advise of any changes you would like as we can not change it once it is ‘set in stone’.
